A friend of mine (Elisa) and her son Eric and Caleb and I made the 1.5 hour drive (South-ish) to Nosan last week for their annual Strawberry Festival. Apparently, Nosan is known for the region that grows the best strawberries in Korea and so we went to check it out. It ended up raining the day before we went so it was super super super muddy but we had a fun time and enjoyed getting to know each other better....Her son Eric is totally adorable and one of the sweetest (and well-mannered) little boys you'd ever meet. He's 2 and Caleb really enjoys watching him and "playing" together. We've really enjoyed getting to know this family and have been really encouraged by their openness, their kindness, generosity, like-minded parenting and commitment to healthy eating/living. Someday (soon, maybe?) I'll post our food journey from the past 2 years but it is fun to meet other families with a commitment to healthy eating....plus she's been able to teach me a number of new things around the kitchen, which is always fun. Thanks, Elisa!
Love the strawberry pictures with the peek hole!
ReplyDeleteLove the one with you and Caleb in front of the flowers with the big strawberry in the background. Did you eat any?
